As of today, May 11, 2020, I am still waiting on word from the Ohio State Medical Board as to when and how I can safely open my practice. Some of you may know that Governor DeWine has slated May 15, 2020 as the reopening day for salons and spas. Those businesses are governed by the Cosmetology Board, not the Medical Board who I am licensed under. The only LMTs that are able to practice right now are those who are working in a medical office. The latest communication from the Medical Board is that they are still hashing out safety measures and will communicate those to us as soon as they figure things out. As soon as I have a reopening date I will post it here as well as new office visit protocol. I am not scheduling anyone yet nor offering gift certificates until I have a set reopening date.
